The cabinet over the stairs – though a bit messy – is the lifeblood for our techy house. We’ve got a modem in here that uses 2 SIM cards for cellphone connectivity and can also connect to two external Wi-Fi sources so we piggy back off of them. It’s got a small UPS so that if we lose power (which happened a bit when we were using the air fryer, ACs and electric cooktop all at once) the kids don’t go crazy losing internet. We’ve also got an old Mac mini and raid drive setup with 4 8g drives so we can have a plex media server holding all our music and movies. Last is one of the two PS4s so we can play fallout. It’s called roughing it.
